Parimal Garg has been appointed as a partner in Lowenstein Sandler's white collar defense and business litigation groups. Garg brings significant experience from his previous role as chief counsel to New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, where he led a team of 25 attorneys and served as the governor's primary legal advisor.

During his tenure as chief counsel, which began in 2020, Garg managed all legal matters for the governor's office. His transition to Lowenstein Sandler marks a significant move from public service to private practice, where he will likely leverage his extensive experience in government legal affairs.
